What must I prove in order to win my Florida wrongful death case?

In Florida, you’re wrongful death case is going to be determined based on a couple of factors. Number one, what was the cause of the death? Was there liability? Meaning was there someone at fault? Did they do something wrong, and did that error, did the negligence cause the death? Sometimes you have a belief that, for example, in a medical malpractice claim, that there was a medical error. But if that medical error did not result in the death, then you haven’t proven your case. So you need to prove not only negligence, but causation, that there was a link between the negligence and the ultimate death of that person.
